Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition is indexed by SCIE: A tremendous step forward

Published: 2017-06-14

On June 14, 2017, we received the good news that the Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition is included in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE). The journal is now shown in the Master Journal List of Clarivate Analytics, former Thomson Reuters Intellectual Property and Science Business (https://ip-science.thomsonreuters.com/mjl/) as being covered by SCIE (Figure 1).

Currently, only articles published in V6N2 issue of HBSN are retrievable in SCIE. More time is needed, probably two months, to include articles published since 2015 in HBSN into the SCIE database.

HBSN (Print ISSN 2304-3881; Online ISSN 2304-389X) (Figure 2) is an open access, peer-reviewed, bi-monthly journal. The main focus of the journal is to describe new findings in hepatobiliary diseases and nutrition, and to provide current and practical information on diagnosis, prevention and clinical investigations.

Launched in December 2012, HBSN was indexed by PubMed/PubMed Central in 2014 and is now indexed by SCIE. We greatly appreciate all contributions and support from our distinguished Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board Members, Guest Editors, reviewers and authors (Figure 3).

Indexed by SCIE is a tremendous step for HBSN. We endeavor to make a top-tier publication in the field of hepatobiliary diseases, surgery and nutrition. Meanwhile, we will make the journal a significant communication platform for clinicians, scientists and researchers in the field. We warmly welcome future high-quality articles and look forward to your continued support!
