Sien-Sing Yang, MD

Professor Sien-Sing Yang is the founder and a consultant of the Liver Unit, Cathay General Hospital. His research focuses on complications of acute and chronic hepatic failure, clinical and basic research of chronic hepatitis B and C, and alcoholic liver disease. He is the President Emeritus of Taiwan Society of Ultrasound in Medicine. In 2010, he was awarded the Golden Honorary Medal from the government of Mongolia for conducting training and providing education programs to oversea scholars.
