Dr. Kiyoshi Hasegawa earned his MD in 1993 and PhD in 2003 both from The University of Tokyo. His areas of expertise include hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery, especially surgical treatments of primary/metastatic liver cancer and living donor liver transplantation. He is currently Professor and Chairman, Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery Division and Artificial Organ and Transplantation Division, Department of Surgery, The University of Tokyo. In addition, he serves as Guest Professor at Peking University International Hospital and Visiting professor at West China School of Medicine/West China Hospital, Sichuan University in China.
