Professor Fabrizio Panaro is the surgeon of the Montpellier Medical Center, Department of Surgery in the College of Medicine at Montpellier, and as a Professor of Surgery for the Montpellier University. Professor Panaro’s main fields of activity and research are surgery of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas, and hepatic transplantation. He is particularly involved in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma and of liver metastases. He is highly interested in new technologies, the mini-invasive and robotic surgery. He has delivered more than 200 lectures on his research interests around the world, and has more than 120 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is member-at-large of International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA). He currently serves on the editorial board for a number of prestigious journals, including Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition.
